# Core Feature 4: Repair Experience Sharing

**What Problem Does This Solve?**

An AI's capability ceiling is determined by the quality of the data it was trained on. General-purpose large language models understand automotive repair only at a surface level — their knowledge is drawn from generic public text on the internet, lacking the granular detail, regional variation, and vehicle-specific nuance that real-world repair work demands. AutoDoc's ambition is to build a genuinely professional, vertically specialized, and deeply capable automotive repair AI — and that requires first-hand data from actual repair scenarios.

The Repair Experience Sharing feature is AutoDoc's primary pipeline for acquiring this high-value data. Every case a mechanic uploads — including vehicle model, fault symptoms, repair solution, part numbers, and cost — becomes a training example for AutoDoc's AI. The richer, more accurate, and more vertically specific the data, the more precise AutoDoc's diagnostic AI becomes, and the deeper and more defensible the platform's competitive moat grows.

**Submission Process**

The Repair Experience feature is designed for repair shops and experienced car owners to contribute structured repair knowledge. Click the "Repair Experience" tab on the Rewards page to access the submission form. Points rewards are granted based on the quality and detail of the submission:
